LNP leader CAMPBELL NEWMAN says the government's failed to stand up for Queensland
and get the amount of federal funding the dangerous highway needs.

Along with the crisis group, Mr NEWMAN says an LNP government will have a crisis action
plan within six months of winning the poll, due by March next year.
